In 1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002, Excalibur placed in the finals in the International competition for The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA) -- one of the ten best quartets in the world!

Excalibur is the highest ranking quartet from the LOL district since Happiness Emporium won the gold medal in 1975.

Excalibur names new baritone!

In late October 1999, International Finalist quartet Excalibur named Brent Graham as their new baritone, replacing Greg Volk. See letters from Brent and Greg Dolphin for more information.

The members of Excalibur have diverse backgrounds and careers:

Tenor John Moksnes is a longtime barbershopper. He was the tenor in Celebration quartet, a perennial International Semifinalist.

Lead Greg Dolphin lives in Minneapolis. Greg has been in many quartets, including Little Rascals and Esprit , which earned semifinalist status in International competition.

Greg Volk, baritone, is a goofy baritone and famous arranger. He was the tenor in Esprit .
