Mike Testa

This photo deserves a whole story. To make it short, we were standing on the MAX light rail after the Salem party, and this guy gets on with a Big Chicken namebadge. Cool, I thought, those guys are always goofing off and are never serious.

Then I read his namebadge:

MIKE TESTA
BIG CHICKEN CHORUS

I said, "Oh, that is too funny! 'Mike Testa' -- 'Mike Tester' -- I get it!" He tried to convince me that it was his REAL NAME, but I wasn't that gullible.

Well, he gave up that lame attempt, and we got into a conversation about where he worked, etc., and that he was on CNN with his Singing Valentine quartet (cool!). Before we parted, he gave me his business card (he works at Verisign, who I just started doing business with).

Imagine my surprise when I saw that "Mike Testa" is his REAL NAME! I was in shock, and had to ask his forgiveness. Sure enough, we kept seeing him throughout the week, even at the Rose Gardens in Washington Park! I guess a singer in crazy chorus couldn't ask for a better name! ;-)
