LOL District Quartet Contest 10/22/2005

On Saturday, October 22, 2005, the Land O' Lakes District (LOL) of the Barbershop Harmony Society held its annual district quartet contest finals in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The top ten quartets from Friday night's semifinals competed tonight for the title of 2005 District Champion.

Del Ryberg let me have his front-row seat so I could get some nice photos with my FZ20 and a tripod (no flash allowed). I averaged about 20 shots per quartet, both group shots and individual close-ups. I used 1600x1200 for most, to save disk space (although I tried to get at least one 2540x1960 of each group in case you want to print a color 8x10). Sorry to the quartets who didn't make the top ten -- I had planned on being there Friday night, too, but could not make it due to a tragedy in our town that week.
