On Tuesday, May 8, 2001, Jim & Joann Arneberg and their four kids returned from eight years of missionary service in a tiny village in Tanzania, East Africa. They had spent the last two weeks "decompressing" in Norway, where they traveled with Joann's parents. These pictures are of when we met them at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. (John & Claire got in at 6:00 p.m., and Jim & Joann were SUPPOSED to get in at 9:45, but that flight was cancelled, so they REALLY got in at 11:33 p.m. At night.)

Also on hand to greet them were Paul & Wendy Arneberg, and Ron & Bonnie Arneberg.
