On Friday, June 29, 2001, the Arneberg family went strawberry picking at a berry farm in Tilden, WI, about six miles north of our house. We came home with about 38 pounds of strawberries! We were on the ground picking by 6:20 a.m., but as you can see by the photos, we were not the first ones there. It was a beautiful day to be outside in the morning, though! :-)

We celebrated by going to Linday's On Grand for pancakes and bacon, before settling into the work of turning all these buckets of berries into delicious strawberry jam.
