Visit to Austin, Minnesota (SPAM Museum!)

On February 20, 2003, we decided to take a new route to grandma's house near Sioux Falls, SD. This time we stayed the night in Austin, Minnesota, so we could experience the amazing SPAM Museum.

And amazing it was! It was actually far better than we had expected. We could only stay a couple hours before we had to hit I-90, but we wish we could've stayed longer! We'll allow more time on our next visit.

Almost a year after our visit, I wrote a newspaper column about SPAM in which I referred briefly to our visit:
