Our kids had a school holiday, so we decided to explore St. Paul,
Minnesota. My grandparents on both sides (my kids'
great-grandparents) all lived in St. Paul for most of their lives.
My maternal grandparents had nine kids in a big house on Ames & White Bear Ave...which is now a hairstyling salon! We also checked out Harriet Island for the first time, and even snuck into downtown for a bit via the Wabasha Street Bridge. |
