On Thursday, April 15, 2004, the finals were held of the Chippewa Falls
YMCA
Racquetball Tournament. It was a round-robin tournament for a month,
with the top two players of each bracket going to the finals. All matches
counted toward the standings of the
Chippewa Falls racquetball ladder.
Congratulations to James Kirchen, who came back from a 15-6 loss in the first game to defeat Kevin Stelljes in the tie-breaker for the B-division championship, and to Kent Vandehaar, who won two straight games over Mike Wiseman, despite being down 7-0 in the second game. (I took the photos with my Olympus c2100uz digital camera, at about 3-5x digital zoom, with flourscent white balancing and a forced ISO of 400, wih no flash.) - Tom Arneberg |
