April 2005 CF YMCA Racquetball Finals

On Thursday, April 21, 2005, the finals were held of the Chippewa Falls YMCA Racquetball Tournament. It was a round-robin tournament for a month, with the top two players of each bracket going to the finals. All matches counted toward the standings of the Chippewa Falls racquetball ladder.

Congratulations to Darrell Zaleski, the "new guy" who won it all. (He's been playing at the Eau Claire Athletic Club, and recently started working in Chippewa Falls.) Darrell beat Kent Vandehaar for the new "AA" championship, while Russ Bowe beat Mike Wiseman for the "A" title.

In the "B" bracket, Tom Arneberg beat Mark Severin, while it was Mike Rowan over Todd Nevin for the "C" championship. A doubles bracket was also added for the first time this year; Dale Slaby and Russ Bowe beat Mike Wiseman and James Kirchen for the first doubles trophy.
