Arneberg bike trip to Lambeau, 2008

On the heels of the great bike trip to Duluth in 2007, Tom and the boys headed east this time. David (12) and Jasper (14) had never seen Lambeau Field, so that was the destination. They were joined by Joe Cherrier, who hauled his own little trailer, which proved very handy for hauling charcoal for foil dinners. Jasper and David had never biked more than 30 miles in one day up until last year's trip, and this year they made their first CENTURY ride! And that was carrying tents, sleeping bags, clothes, food and tools! We used the same color-coded county bike maps that we did last year (I love those green roads).

Schedule:

Fri 107 miles! 5:45am-7:30pm Chippewa Falls to Mosinee
Sat 64 miles 8:20am-7:00pm Mosinee to Shawano
Sun 57 miles 6:45am-1:00pm Shawano to Green Bay
