2008 Chippewa Valley Family YMCA
                Racquetball Championships
              March 10th ­ April 16th & 17th

ENTRY FEE: Singles - $30       Doubles - $25         Both Events - $35         
(fee includes shirt and social)

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Thursday, March 6th 2008. As long as all
entry forms are returned before 6pm on Thursday, bracket info,
etc, can be emailed to participants by sometime on Friday.

Entry fee must accompany registration form. Register at front desk

WHO CAN PLAY: Current Chippewa Valley Family YMCA Members.

AWARDS: Winners names will be placed on the racquetball championship
plaques at the YMCA.  A plaque will be given to the first and
second place finishers in each division.

SCORING: 2 out of 3 games, play to 15 points, tie breaker to 11
points. Results must be turned in to the front desk after all
matches for results to be posted. Forms are available across from
the front desk where other YMCA schedules are located.

OFFICIATING: All matches will be "referee your own match" except
for the finals. All players are required to wear AARA protective
eyewear ­ No Exceptions.

DIVISIONS: A, B, & C (The top 4 players in A will be seeded and
play for AA & A Championships).  Each division must have at least
4 participants.

FORMAT: This will be a round robin tournament. All participants
will be placed in their respective division and a list will be sent
to each participant via email when registration closes. Doubles
partners will be assigned and play in a single division. Players
are responsible to set-up their own match times. All matches will
be played between March 10th and April 15th ­ by 10pm. The semi-
finals for division A and the championship for doubles will be
played on Wednesday, April 16th, while the finals for divisions AA,
A, B & C will be played on Thursday, April 17th. The social will
follow Thursday's events. Do not wait until the last week to get
matches in ­ courts may be booked and possibly not be available. Any
matches not played by the scheduled deadline will count as a loss
for both players. Court reservations are allowed 1 hour at a time
for tournament matches. Reservations should be made through the
front desk.
