Owner Margaret Manderfeld is a professional artist who can tailor to your needs and desires. You give her the exact dimensions you want -- above a pantry, above an entrance door, on the side of a closet door -- and she can create a work of beauty and truth to help you literally take God's words and "write them on your doorframes."

Margaret not only has years of experience as a professional framer, she also has been an artist and caligrapher for most of her life. There is no limit -- if you can visualize what you want, she can create it for you!

Example:

In this example, the client had wallpaper in the kitchen that she wanted to have embedded into the design. Margaret was able to cut out pieces of the wallpaper, and interweave them with beautiful hand-drawn caligraphy lettering. The length and height of the finished product was a custom made to fit perfectly above the kitchen pantry doors. (You can click on any photo to get a large version.)

Deuteronomy Doorframes is located in Duluth, Minnesota. Feel free to stop by the studio and meet Margaret and see some of her work! Sometimes looking at what she has done will give you ideas of what you can do in your own home. If you don't live near Lake Superior, though, don't fret -- since high-quality lightweight posterboard is used, her artwork can be easily and economically mailed anywhere in the U.S.A!
